Saturday, June 6, 2026 — New Voices, New Stories: Participants in Recital I, 7 PM
Featuring CPI participants in an evening of art song. 

Thursday, June 11, 2026 — Sylvie & The Rain Tree: Black Poetry, Music, and the Haitian Kont, 7 PM
Art song, storytelling, and Haitian musical traditions in a powerful evening of performance. A lecture recital by Kuwento Mizik –baritone Jean Bernard Cerin and pianist Veena Kulkarni-Rankin– featuring their original musical folk tale, Sylvie & The Rain Tree alongside music by African American composers and lyrics by Black poets. PROGRAM WILL BE ANNOUNCED FROM THE STAGE

Friday, June 12, 2026 — Faculty & Fellows in Concert 7 PM

Featuring CPI faculty and participants in an evening of art song and chamber music. Special guests: legendary pianist Martin Katz, Blair Salter (Head of Music, L.A. Opera), soprano Amy Petrongelli, SMTD Piano Faculty Elena Lacheva, and Ana María Otamendi with the Reverón Piano Trio!
