APPLICATIONS FOR CPI 2024 ARE NOW OPEN!
ACTIVE PARTICIPANT 2024 DEADLINES – ALL FEES NON-REFUNDABLE:
EARLY BIRD DEADLINE (priority scholarship consideration): FEBRUARY 15, 2024: $35
REGULAR DEADLINE (priority scholarship consideration): MARCH 1, 2024: $55
LATE DEADLINE: AFTER MARCH 1, 2024: $100
IF APPLYING AS A DUO, TRIO, OR A GROUP, EACH MEMBER OF THE GROUP SHOULD FILL OUT THE APPLICATION FORM.
Eligibility: all solo or collaborative pianists are welcome to apply. You may be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree, taking a gap year (or more), or working professionally (freelancing, teaching, working at an institution, etc).
Applicants will be notified of their status as soon as possible after March 15, 2024.
Upon acceptance, the participants will receive a letter of invitation to be signed and returned by April 1, 2024, along with a non-refundable $500 deposit (the deposit will be applied towards tuition cost).
A full payment of tuition and housing (if applicable) must be postmarked by April 15, 2024.
In order to apply as an ACTIVE PARTICIPANT, you will need:
- Completed application form (if applying as a group, each member must fill out the application form, and specify the members of the group)
- Résumé and headshot(s) (to be uploaded in the application form).
- Two or more video recordings made within a year from the application deadline.
- The videos must include at least two contrasting selections featuring an instrumental or vocal partner; OR one solo piano and one contrasting collaborative selection.
- Please upload the videos to Youtube or Dropbox, and copy the links into the application form.
- The $35 (by February 15th), $55 (by March 1st), or $100 (after March 1st) non-refundable application fee via check, Zelle or Paypal (you will pay directly at the application form)
- Auditors do not need to pay an application fee.
