Applications for the Collaborative Piano Institute are now open! 

Eligibility: all solo or collaborative pianists. You must be either enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree, or working professionally (freelancing, teaching, working at an institution, etc).

EARLY BIRD Deadline: wednesday, March 15th, 2018

Application fee (check postmarked by March 15th): $50
Late Application Fee (after March 15th): $100


Notification: Applicants will be notified of their status as soon as possible. Upon acceptance, the participants will receive a letter of invitation to be signed and returned by April 25th, 2018. A $500 deposit will be due by that date, and a full payment of tuition and housing (if applicable) must be sent by May 15th.

Repertoire Requirements: Students are encouraged to bring a variety of collaborative works. If you wish to work on specific pieces, please let us know well in advance so we can arrange partners for you.

Please fill out the application form below. In order to be fully considered for enrollment, you will also need the following:

1) Upload a resume in the appropriate box at the end of this page.

2) Attach links to two recent recordings, preferably video. Please, submit either two selections featuring an instrumental or vocal partner; OR one solo piano and one collaborative selection. If they are uploaded to YouTube or Dropbox, you can copy and paste the URL in the appropriate box below. Otherwise you can send a CD or DVD to the following address:

3) Mail a check with the $50 application fee (postmarked by March 15th. After this date, the fee will increase to $100). Make checks payable to “Shattuck-St. Mary’s School” with the memo “Collaborative Piano Festival,” and send them to the following address:
